A new one story school building in Paris costing 35000 dollars features 12 classrooms with built in closets and ventilated wardrobes, a large community room, gym facilities, and modern steam heating with a mechanical exhaust ventilation system. The project, funded by a 30000 dollar bond, was designed by R C Watkins of Salt Lake City and built by H R Shepherd, with plumbing and heating by S Sanford.

Christopher Anderson 78 died in Salt Lake City while visiting his daughter Mrs Joseph Jones. Funeral held at her home with Bishop Tingey and H Iverson speaking. A hand cart veteran and former manager of Pres Brigham Young's mill in Liberty Park, he worked at Empire mill City Creek canyon and Charles Rich mill Paris Idaho before returning to Salt Lake in 1917. He married Johanna Rosengreen in 1863. Five children, eighteen grandchildren, eighty great grandchildren survive. Children listed as Joseph A Anderson, Mrs Emily Jones, Mrs Nephina Williams, James Anderson, Hyrum Anderson.

Paris P C C driven hotel project turns town pride
About three years ago the P C C organized with George Weldon as president to secure a hotel for Paris. A committee raised funds to buy the North West corner of the tabernacle square, then deeded the property for hotel development. The completed hotel offers 22 guest rooms a large dining room a lobby a barber shop and other facilities. The project boosted local commerce and even drew the Paris commercial club to base operations in the hotel.
