Burglar Caught After Break-In At Gerlach Market
A man prowled the Gerlach Market early Saturday morning and was caught after entering the rear door. Deputy Wilkes and Officer Pugmire escorted the suspect to Montpelier and later Paris to face charges. Utah warrants led to transfer for prosecution. He had no driver’s license and no items were stolen.

Retired Paris Railroad Worker William Boss Dies
William Boss aged in his late 60s died at his Paris home Tuesday night after a period of failing health. He is survived by his wife Anna and siblings, with no children. Funeral services set for 4:30 p.m. Monday February 6 at Matthews Mortuary, Paris, burial in Paris Cemetery.

Bear Lake County sheep men urged to sign wool pool contracts and return them to the county Agent's office in Paris Idaho. The contract requires crutching and bagging the crutchings separately and selling with the wool at delivery. Clean wool brings a better price according to Mr Les ter Skinner.

Agriculture car to Soda Springs Mar 3
The Union Pacific Agriculture Ont-witl will stop at Soda Springs Friday March 8. More than 500 awards fund medicine nursing physical therapy occupational therapy and medical social work at 2000 total. Idaho Department of Highways designates 350 Ibs per inch tire width load limit and 10 000 Ibs maximum for certain axles on multiple routes effective 8:00 a.m. March 1 1961.
