Lake shore season opens with new pavilions and amusements
Pleasure resorts along the lake plan a busy season with new octagon dance pavilion at Fish Haven and a large swimming pool and dance hall at Lakets. Construction includes 45 by 60 foot buildings, 25 by 60 foot pool, 21 dressing rooms, showers, heated water, and sanitary facilities. Opening festivities and improved camping grounds are announced, plus a hotel at the Hot Springs set for July 1 with rooms and meals priced.

Worked Too Hard Leads to Death in Utah Valley
Genevan man known as Tig wite and Tour smallchititen from Bear Lake valley arrived in Huntsville Utah about eight years ago and married Miss Eliza Arshoff. He died after suffering from heat exhaustion while shearing sheep and working at home. He was described as an honest hard working man.

Olsen Wins From Insurance Policy Case in Oregon Short Line Suit
Adjourned district court session in Paris heard several cases with Judge R. M. Terrell presiding. In Olsen vs Beneficial Life Insurance Co. the jury ruled for the plaintiff, finding policy payment terms waived due to agent Dunford’s knowledge of Olsen’s illness. $2000 policy awarded. Also Miller vs Oregon Short Line ended with non-suit instructions for the defendant. Baer pleads guilty in a burglary case.

Little Lavera Poulsen Killed by Auto in Utah Town
Five year old Lavera Poulsen daughter of Bishop James Poulsen of Paris was accidentally killed when a car driven by Frank Beck struck her as she crossed center street with her sister and Mrs Ezra Poulsen. The coroner exonerated Beck. inquest found death purely accidental. Funeral services held at Paris Second Ward with remarks on universal sympathy.
