Independence Day Observed Across Denmark at Rebild Park
The annual Rebild Festival in northern Jutland gathers up to 40,000 Danes and Americans to celebrate U S independence day with flag parades, speeches by notable figures, and festive events. The park tradition began with Danish Americans led by Dr. Max Henius who donated the land in 1912 for the observance each year.
