Every Day Is Fish Day In Bear Lake County
Paris residents have embraced a fish centered menu as the new Fish and Game law allows Bear Lake anglers to serve trout and other fish at home. Anglers M. Rich and son Eugene, Ellis Williamson, J. Charles, and Mr. Peterson held fishing permits and provided fresh fish daily, though trout yields remained low. They fault the Fish and Game Department for delaying permits, causing the trout spawning season to end before permits arrived and trout to retreat to deep water.
