Hazel L Peterson and Inez Phelps attended a Sunday Montpelier First Ward meeting where the Jane Davis D U P presented a program with Inez Phelps giving a story. A large turnout attended a funeral in Bern for Smith Kunz and there was a ward parade followed by a plate lunch with proceeds.
The Sydney Thornock family gathered July 23 1961 at Emigration Park in the canyon for lunch with 40 attendees. Present were many Thornocks from Cokeville Idaho to Sage Wyoming. officers were chosen and activities included kids races and horse shoe pitching. Some relatives and visitors joined from Logan Ogden and Hollywood with Elmer Beck recovering from surgery in Logan hospital.
Inez Phelps and Hazel L. Peterson attended the County D.U.P. encampment and election in St. Charles Thursday. The event drew good attendance and the writer was successful in purchases for history books and related items.
