A long list of out of town visitors and locals spending time around Bear Lake for the Fourth with meals visits and greetings. Families from Salt Lake City Ogden Lewiston Moscow and Provo join locals at homes, reunions and camping trips amid racing news, train departures, and weekend errands.
Me and Mrs Walter Poulieu and Be and Mrs Merrill Transtram of Nonpelier attended church services in Soda Springs Barday. The grandson Dan-Lan, son of Mn Springs, was present. Dan had just returned from Bisson in Ores and Washingtone.
The Summer Encampment of the Bear Lake County Utah will be held at St Charles Recreation Hall on Thursday July 20. Lunch is at 12 30 with a program and election of county officers to follow.

A Bear Lake County group of 102 4-H youngsters travels Monday to Alpine Wyoming for a four day 4-H Camp at Alpine they will join Caribou County youths for activities. County Extension Agent Hyrum Johnson and Marlene Stegelmeier accompany with Tamara Pugmire and Chad Pugmire coordinating transport. Camp funds come from charges donations gifts and commissary sales and the site serves 4-H clubs square dance groups church groups and families. 2 500 people used the camp in 1950.
Lucille Rogers and Mrs. Ednad Bol ton spent the Fourth of July in Salt Lake City meeting with presidents of missions where their sons labor. They stayed Tuesday night in Ogden with relatives and returned home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Prive, Mrs.
The Pocatello Navy Recruiting Station reports twelve men and one or more women joined the Navy in June from southeastern Idaho. Enlistees include Larry Beck from Montpelier, Stanley Robinson from Grace, Richard Whitworth from Bancroft, Virginia Luker and William McCarthy of Pocatello, Donald Moffit, Stanley Slader, Bernice David Adama, Donald I. Adan, James Dillon, and Michael Hansen from nearby towns and addresses.
Mrs Wendell Johnson of Laketown spent three days in Ogden attending events linked to a beauty contest in which her daughter Suzanne Johnson participated. Suzanne works as a special nurse at the Ogden Clinic for Dr Oliver Richards, eye physician and surgeon.

The Senate Agriculture Committee approved a bill by Senators Church Idaho and Moas Utah to extend Far mers Home Administration authority to make large livestock loans. The extension would allow loans above 20000 until July 1963 and uses the existing emergency loan revolving fund with no new appropriation. The current program expires July 14.

Premium lists for the 1961 East Idaho State Fair announce changes in horse divisions with two light horse schedules, track infield judging, and new bleachers. Judges include James J. Kiser from Iowa State University and Charles Ky a of Montana. beef, dairy, swine and sheep named judges. Visitors at the Clifford Prica home this week included Mr and Mrs Gary Prica and family of Denver Colorado. They enjoyed a picnic Monday in Stussiee.
