VA clarifies drill pay reporting for veterans in training
Veterans in training under the GI bill who receive National Guard or Naval Reserve drill pay need not report such income when filing earnings reports. Naval reservists receive additional pay during cruises and must include it as productive labor. Report of compensation from productive labor is required at least three times yearly. failure to report may suspend subsistence payments. Also included are hospital admission steps using VA form P-10 for eligible World War II veterans and a note on disability compensation ranging from 13.80 to 138 dollars monthly with possible up to 360 for certain disabilities.
