Resignation of Hall Announced in Idaho
Boise reports William F. Hall has resigned as commissioner of public works to Governor Baldridge after eight years of service. The resignation would take effect by February 28 or at the governor's pleasure. No successor named and Baldridge declined to say if he would accept the resignation. Widow Mrs. Mary Peterson Dies in Ovid
Mary H Peterson widow of Andrew H Peterson died at her home in Ovid last Friday. She leaves three sons and two daughters. Funeral services were held in Ovid Monday with many relatives and friends present. Interment was beside her husband in Ovid cemetery. One son, Bishop Oliver L Peterson, is a newly elected commissioner. The new board delayed organization until late afternoon out of respect.

Rabbit drive nets pelts for Salt Lake market
