He took oath at noon from Chief Justice William H Lee with state officials and the 19th legislature present. Miner Survives 130-Foot Fall At Bunker Hill Mine
Jan 3 Kellog Spesé Paladin a miner at Bunker Hill mine fell about 130 feet while alone Friday. Found by fellow workers, Paladin was taken to Wardner hospital. Doctors said he suffered a concussion but would recover. he remained semi conscious with multiple cuts and bruises. White, the mine foreman, declined comment.

Fielding High class of 1929 holds reunion
The Fielding high school class of 1929 held a reunion last Thursday December 30 with about twenty five attendees including graduates and partners. A banquet at the ward first hall was followed by a Paris pavilion dancing party and a brief program featuring Leonard Bacon principal M D Low and others. Officers were elected to plan next year’s event and Golden Tucker led the reunion efforts. The class was the first to graduate from Fielding High and hopes to make annual reunions.

Dora Passey Dies After Long Illness at 15
Dora Passey 15 daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Passey of this city died at home after a three month illness caused by heart trouble and complications. She was the eldest child, a Fielding High School student, and survived by her parents and three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held Monday in Paris Second Ward with Bishop Dan Price presiding and remarks from local church leaders. The grave was dedicated by Hzra T. Passey and music provided by the ward choir.

World War Soldier Brought Home for Burial
Milton H. Hymas, 33, son of William Hymas of Liberty, arrived from Douglas Arizona where he died December 80 after a liver abscess operation. He served in World War II and fought in France. Interment is planned at Liberty Cemetery beside a brother who died in the war. Attorney and Mrs. Darwin Haddock and children returned Tuesday from a visit at Burley with Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Briscoe, formerly of Bloomington.
