Mailman Kyle McGrady Delivers by Boat Through Hell's Canyon
Lewiston Idaho hosted Kyle McGrady the famed mailman who runs a 103 442 route up the Snake River to Hell's canyon delivering letters magazines and parcels and guiding tourists. His round trip covers 190 miles with 12 hours up and 4 hours back and costs about 1450 per person for trip lodging and meals. He operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6 am with a lodge at the canyon rim and notes the river’s fierce current and treacherous rapids. Hell's canyon is deepest in North America and the Snake was called the wildest river by explorers.
