Services for Clarence I Hill at Bloomington were postponed until Wednesday last week due to stormy weather. Bishop LaVell G Ward conducted with opening songs and multiple speakers and choirs. Full military honors were given by Bear Lake American Legion Post under Blake Jensen with taps by Archie Shepherd and a color guard. Pallbearers listed include Russell Payne and several Krogues. Cemetery interment followed at Bloomington with Jay Nelson dedicating the grave.

Commissioners Approve Funds for County Health Nurse

Louisa Smedley Dies in Paris Home After Illness
Mrs. Louisa Smedley died Tuesday night at about 9 30 at her Paris residence after years of declining health. Born in Paris April 29 1868 she spent most of her life there. She married Heber C Smedley in 1834 and survived by son Arch of Paris and daughters Arvilla Boise Id and Lucille Rozzelle Las Vegas Nev, plus a brother and sister and seven grandchildren.
