Supreme Court Limits Tax Redemption Period for Delinquent Lands
The state supreme court ruled that delinquent 1920 1921 and 1922 taxes may be redeemed within three years after relief law, not four, else the county becomes owner and the property may be sold. It upheld the 1923 relief act and denied rehearing in Washington county v Paradis. Taxpayers may pay each year separately with interest, changing prior penalties.
