Lions Basketball Tournament Dates Set for March
The Paris Lions club sponsors the Outlaw Basketball Tournament on March 13 14 and 15 with entries due February 28 to tournament manager Earl C Bonham. Teams may have up to 10 players all Bear Lake Valley residents. Entry fee is one dollar per player trophies awarded to winner runner up and consolation bracket winner. The Paris Lions team will be Fielding High School seniors.

Life-Long St Charles Man Chauncey Floyd Dies
Chauncey Floyd 83 longtime St Charles resident died February 5 at his home from a heart attack after years of health. Born June 15, 1891, he married Estella Pugmire in 1913 and left six children and nine grandchildren. He worked 20 years for Utah Power and Light at Camp Lifton before farming. Funeral February 10 at the St Charles ward chapel with Bishop Arlin Pugmire presiding. interment in St Charles cemetery. Matthews Mortuary in charge.
