Former Georgetown Man Dies at Salt Lake Sunday
Marion Charles Clark, 64, former Georgetown Idaho merchant, died at his Salt Lake City residence from a heart ailment. He operated a Georgetown general store 20 years and served as Sunday school superintendent and choir director. Born April 4 1884 in Georgetown he lived in Salt Lake City 15 years as a woolen salesman. Survivors include his widow two sons and four daughters.

Former Bear Lake Lady Dies in Logan
Mrs. Christena Poulsen Peterson wife of Ivan Peterson died Monday morning at 9 30 in a Logan hospital after a short illness. Born 1897 at Liberty Idaho she and Ivan lived in Ovid Montpelier before moving to Logan. Survived by husband son Ray her parents and ten siblings. Funeral Thursday at 1 PM in the Logan 5th Ward chapel.

Bull Moose Attacks Bus Carrying College Players
Willard Hansen drove a Bear Lake Stage Lines bus carrying Idaho State University basketball players from Bozeman to Montana State. Near West Yellowstone a bull moose charged the bus for about half an hour, damaging the windshield wiper and front. A passing car with youths fired in the air, sending the animal away. it wandered off exhausted after several miles.

Montpelier Man Dies of Monoxide Poison
Russell A Stevens 26 of Montpelier died from carbon monoxide poisoning after working on an automobile near Kemmerer Diamondville. He was found Sunday at about 8:30 am by Andrew Charlick who alerted authorities. Stevens was a World War II veteran and a Union Pacific railroad fireman.

Thomas Roberts Funeral Held in Lanark
Funeral services for Thomas Roberts were held in the Lanark ward chapel on a Wednesday afternoon at 1 o clock. The ceremony included preludes and postludes, music by a Paris quartet with Opal Shepherd at piano, and remarks by Bp Archie Parker. Interment followed in Lanark cemetery with grave dedication by David Roberts of Liberty, brother of the deceased.

Randolph’s Oldest Citizen Dies in Randolph Utah
William Andrew Marshall 85, longtime Randolph resident and former Rich County sheriff, died February 2 after a short illness. Born January 5, 1864 in West Bountiful, he married Tamson Minnie Egan in 1888 and helped pioneer Randolph. Survived by three children, one sister, eight grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral February in Randolph ward chapel with interment in Bountiful City Cemetery.

John Stucki Rescued After Two Days Snowbound
John Stucki of Paris was trapped by two separate snow slides in Logan Canyon while en route home Sunday night. After darkness fell Monday, highway crews learned of his plight and, with help from Fenton Allred and Van Ness Vallentine, he was carried from the summit to the station and finally to a truck. The blizzard raged, and crews warned travel would not resume for another day.
