Pledges Heal March of Dimes Radio Marathon Success
Bear Lake Valley residents rallied for the March of Dimes event hosted by KVSI and KSL TV. Pledges surpassed goals at 12:00 and again near 4:00, with totals nearing $2,000 after final tabulations.

County Budget Detailed Hearing Set For February 13
The county proposes a $454 849 budget, down from 1966's $469 745.50. Actual expenditures reached $347 974.90 with unspent funds reverting to the current expense fund. Pioneer History of County to Be Published Next Fall
The Bear Lake County Daughters of Utah Pioneers plan a fall release for a new pioneer history of Bear Lake Valley. Orders are being taken via DUP historians and Mrs. Darwin Haddock in Paris, with price around three to four dollars and three dollars due on submission.
