Matthews Cow Produces Milk Record in 389 Days

Hampville Picton Blend 5857423, a 5 year old Registered Holstein cow owned by Wayne J Matthews of Ovid, produced 18 290 pounds of milk and 711 pounds of butterfat in 389 days. University of Idaho supervised the production and testing with Holstein-Finnesian Association of America support. The report notes this far exceeds the national average of about 8 5143 pounds of milk and 315 pounds of butterfat per year.

Idaho licensing deadline extended for vehicles and trailers

Commissioner Mills of Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles announced a longer licensing extension for three vehicle types including utility trailers and motorcycles.
