Baldridge Sees Idaho Fortified Against Unemployment

Governor Baldridge says Idaho’s drive against unemployment is strongly fortified by the defense council action. He notes congressional delegations can press concrete projects including reclamation, river channel deepening, and highway improvements. He plans to attend a Portland meeting with Western states chamber of commerce and will urge federal funding for Idaho and the West. The state board of examiners also wipes out private cora on state business and abolishes revolving funds effective January 5 to start the new administration with a clean slate.
