City water system contract awarded to Utah contractor

Ernest Stettler of Logan Utah wins the labor and materials bid for a city water system project. Seven bids were opened Saturday with Stettler’s at 60351.45 dollars the lowest, others ranged up to 76994 dollars. City officials and the PWA Administration approved the award and the contractor has posted his project sign per government rule.

Post Subscription Campaign Selects 16 Prize Winners

In a two district campaign, 16 candidates compete for four bicycles and 12 cash commissions. District One covers outside Paris city limits and District Two covers inside. First prizes go to the top candidate in each district, with two more bicycles awarded to the next highest vote-getters overall. The remaining 12 receive cash commissions equal to 20 percent of their subscriptions. The sealed ballot box will be opened at 9 p.m. Saturday.

Gold Green Ball To Be Season's Big Social Event

72 Old Members Not Returning to Idaho Legislature
