Fish Planting in Idaho Takes to the Air
Idaho's accelerated fish planting program will air 125000 fingerlings this week starting at McCall. Pilot Joe Monahan will release fish from alpine lakes accessible only by air, using a special aerial tank for dropping sites. Experiments will test feasibility of air stocking Segal-size fish while previous drops used one to three inch fish.

G I Insurance Dividend Forms Available for WWII Veterans
The Veterans Administration will have application forms for the wartime G I insurance dividend at the Paris post office on August 29. About 50,000 Idaho veterans are eligible for a share of the 2.8 billion dollar fund, with checks to be mailed beginning January 1950 and distribution hoped to finish by June 1950.

Owen Hook Johnson 38, Montpelier, employee of Utah Power and Light, died last Thursday at a Montpelier substation when his hand touched an 11 000 volt line while disconnecting a dead transformer. E B Taylor assisted with artificial respiration. a doctor pronounced him dead. Johnson, born October 11 1911 in Richmond, Utah, married Hazel Innes in Salt Lake City October 11 1935. Survived by widow and 6 year old daughter, five sisters and a brother. Funeral held Monday in Montpelier Second Ward chapel conducted by Bishop Alvin C Tueller.
