Garden City Holstein Herd Sold to Utah Buyer
L. L. Cook of Garden City Utah purchased the entire herd of registered Holstein cows from Earl Haggerty of Cokeville Wyoming. A sire was selected from Gr Noble of Trenton Utah after study of bulls from Carnation and Tenco. The $6000? bull purchase reflected high bloodlines and cost contrasts with eastern farms. Garden City milk is now processed into casein at Laketown and shipped to Paris market, illustrating agricultural value of farm products beyond corn belt.
