Funeral services were held at the Holladay Stake Center for Nada Rich Brockbank wife of Elder Bernard P Brockbank of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Born September 4 1913 in Paris she lived in Paris Preston and Logan and earned a teaching certificate from Utah State Agricultural College. She married Elder Brockbank in 1935 and accompanied him to England in 1960 aiding missionary work and the New York Worlds Fair pavilion. She served in Primary Sunday School MIA and Relief Society and led the Utah Home Builders Auxiliary.

Montpelier Man Cited and Fined in Bear Lake Incident
C.E. Jewells of Montpelier was arrested by Bear Lake County officers after a car driven by Jell Nelson of Montpelier with Jewell aboard traveled erratically in St. Charles. Jewell pled guilty to resisting an officer and battery, was fined 250 dollars, and received 60 days in jail with the term suspended on payment.

Ray Christensen Receives Bronze Star Medal
Air Force Captain Ray Christensen, son of Mr and Mrs Wendell Christensen of Provo Utah and grandson of Mrs Gertrude Christensen of Bloomington, earned the Bronze Star Medal at the Pentagon for meritorious service in military operations against Viet Cong forces in Vietnam. He serves as an intelligence staff officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency and is a member of the Headquarters Command assisting Air Force personnel in Washington and overseas. Christensen is a Provo High School graduate who earned a BS degree from Brigham Young University in 1955 and completed Air Force ROTC training before commissioning, with additional study at the University of Texas.
