County Recorder Sam V. Tunks urges homeowners to file releases when mortgages are paid to avoid title clouds. Releasing chattel mortgages costs 25 cents, real estate releases 20 cents per 100 words. discharged service members may have their discharge recorded free of charge.

St Charles Sunshine Club Enjoy Visit at Morgan Home

Ten members from St. Charles Sunshine Club visited Mrs. Hugh Morgan in Liberty on Saturday July 28. Iola Bunderson and Louise Keetch drove the group to Cherry for games and social time led by Connie Allred Jennie Rasmussen. A humorous club-mem ber paper was read and a 6 30 lunch was served by Edna Morgan Iola Bunderson and Louise Keetch.

Nine Pound Baby Born at Budge Hospital Logan

Mr. and Mrs William Stell announce the birth of a nine pound baby at Budge hospital Logan with Mrs Stell formerly Lucille Shepherd. Pfc Stell recently returned from European duty and will come home soon. Griffith Roberts of Beach Haven met his brother in law Sgt Arthur W Haviland discharged July 27 after nearly five years service including three years in the South Pacific. Haviland has three major battle stars and many theatre ribbons. Mrs Haviland formerly Jona Hoberts of Fish Haven.

Sparks Family Reunion In Ogden Utah

The Sparks family held their annual reunion at Ogden Utah on July 24 at the home of D C Sparks. Pfc Gordon Bolton Transferred Toward Pacific Action

Pfc Gordon Bolton of Paris Idaho is processed at Camp Atlanta France en route to the Pacific with the 18th Armored Division in the Assembly Area. He served with the 13th Armored Division known as the Black Cat, which captured 20 000 German prisoners in the Ruhr and 19 000 in Bavaria. He holds the Good Conduct Medal Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge. Bolton is the son of Mr and Mrs Dave Bolton. He will receive a furlough before Division training for Pacific action. He arrived home Monday evening.

Nye Family Returns Home From Evanston Visit

Mr and Mrs Frank Nye and son Roy returned home Friday from Evanston after visiting Ora Nye and Ernest Nye homes. Accompanying them were Lorraine and Larry children of Mr and Mrs Ernest Nye.

The Paris 2nd Ward Primary will present a program next Sunday at 8 o'clock. Includes opening gong and Bless the Children, a prayer by Pauline Cox, welcome by Lauriel Athay, a song The Message of His Love, a short playlet The Light of the World, and a cast of Children of the World and Children of the Church with many named participants. Dow Williamson, formerly of Paris, Utah, serves as Leadingman Packer in the law boxmaking and bag units of Storehouse A-15 at the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield. He oversees 67 workers, with a career spanning radio radar and central packing, and remains dedicated to civil service work in Utah.

S/Sgt James Nutt son of Mrs Otto Bucher of Paris Idaho is discharged at Ft Douglas under the adjusted service rating plan. He wears four bronze stars for campaigns in China Burma and Java and is authorized to wear the Pre Pearl Harbor Asiatic Pacific Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal. Before enlisting in December 1940 he worked as a farmer for Dr Rich of Paris.

Sgt Grant Grandy Weds Barbara Curtis in Logan Temple

Sgt Grant Grandy son of Mr and Mrs Emil Grandy and Miss Barbara Curtis of Payson Utah were married at the Logan temple on Thursday July 26. Grandy has three years overseas service and recently returned to the United States. They spent several days at the military home and left for Payson for a reception that evening.

Word has been received of the birth of a baby boy weighing eight pounds four ounces born July 28 to Mr. and Mrs. Seth Moser at Auburn Wye. Mrs. Moser was formerly Miss Alice Eborn. The baby is welcomed by two sisters and one brother.
