Idaho citizens paid 55 times more federal income taxes in 1948 than in 1941. Idaho’s Harry A. Blcock of the State Chamber of Commerce said personal taxes rose from 1 1 0 0 552 to 55 510 000, noting total individual and corporate taxes were about 20 times higher.
