Counterfeit Stolen Gas Coupons Alarm Officials
More than 90 percent of motorists have backed the war effort to stamp out counterfeit and stolen gas coupons. Since January 1st, 926 counterfeiters and peddlers were arrested and 611 motorists who bought gasoline illegally lost their rations. About 20 061 filling stations turned in coupons to cover illegal use of over four million gallons of gasoline, and 1 110 stations were denied the right to buy or sell gasoline for periods up to the war’s end.

Three Local Boys Enlist in U S Navy

Two Local Men Answer Navy Call on May 1st
