The Public Service Bureau group performed at Welding High School on Wednesday morning. The program featured soloists Bernice Barton Wilma Boyle and Gene Jacobson plus readings and a chalk drawing. Lectures by Dr. Snow and Mr. Boyle closed the event with a college song.

Prisoners Sent to State Asylum From Idaho Penitentiary
Six prisoners were removed from the penitentiary to Blackfoot asylum after being judged insane. Trio Sentenced in Grand Larceny Case at District Court
Judge Jay L. Downing presided as three youths from eastern states pleaded guilty to grand larceny for breaking into a freight car and stealing merchandise. H. R. Smith of Patake, Il, received a suspended Boise penitentiary sentence with two yearly reports. Harold Vincent of Cromwell Conn and Robt Briggs of Custer So Dak were sent to the St Anthony Industrial School. Civil cases were dismissed or set for June adjournment.

Call for bids to grade Mink Creek Road in Bannock County

A garage fire at the F. W. Stout home in Montpelier destroyed the structure after a broad stove exploded. Fifty baby chicks perished in the blaze, while the automobile was removed from the building.
