Governor Moses Alexander issues a 1917 proclamation urging Idaho citizens to cultivate every available acre to boost food production. The plan calls county meetings April 14 to organize committees, broaden agricultural effort, and coordinate rallies with farmers, banks, schools, and clubs statewide.
