Farmer Finds Dummy Missile Dropped by Army Helicopter
Fort Drum officials report a farmer in Martinsburg New York spotted a non explosive M36 Captive Flight Training Missile in a field last Friday. The 100 pound steel training missile was lost a week earlier by an AH 64 Apache helicopter crew from the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division en route to Stewart International Airport.

Oswego man pleads not guilty in Kwik Fill robbery
James F. Sperino III, 21, of Oswego, arraigned on four felony counts over a Kwik Fill heist in Oswego Town. He allegedly planned the robbery with three others, subdued an employee, and fled with cigarettes, cash, and a soda. He claims not to have entered the store, stating cigarettes were expensive and that he sold most of the stolen items. Motions deadlines set for October 27 with responses by November 18 and hearings on November 24.
