New York's Wildlife Conservation Society reports a female Angolan colobus monkey born this August at the Bronx Zoo. The infant, on exhibit with mother, features white fur against the mother's black and white coat. The species ranges from Angola to DR Congo with populations in Tanzania and Kenya.

Oswego State Inspector General investigators seized Port of Oswego Authority Executive Director Zelko Kirincich’s phone and computer during an hours long search at the port. Four charged in vicious child abuse case in Albion
Oswego County deputies say a 10 year old was fed once daily and subjected to abuse tied to a vehicle with a beating stick. Four Albion adults Gary Bubis Jr Shawn Whaley Brandy Shaver face second degree assault charges. Leslieann Raeder faces endangering the welfare of a child in a probe also involving a 3 year old with burn wounds from scalding water. The 10 year old fled to a neighbor Wednesday morning and is hospitalized at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
