Oswego County hammered as storm drops record rainfall
A major storm drenched Oswego County with 4.1 inches of rain on Monday, lifting October’s total to 8.97 inches and triggering power outages for about 4,200 National Grid customers in central New York. Flooding closed eight roads in Sandy Creek and multiple roads in Richland and Oswego, while crews worked to clear damage as lakefront flooding worsened.
