Popular Oswego area chef to the features at Guest Chef Dinner
Oswego area chef Raymond Jock of La Parrilla will headline the next Guest Chef Dinner for the Oswego County Salvation Army on Election Day November 8. Serving 4 30 to 6 30 p m at the Worship and Service Center Oswego the event offers dine in or take out with Bistec de Pollo as the menu. The Advisory Board provides bread tossed salad and desserts and beverages. The dinner supports Salvation Army services in Oswego County including meals groceries and other aid. Planning is underway for this year s Red Kettle Campaign with a goal of raising over 80 000. Volunteers and donors may contact the Oswego facility for more information.

Oswego YMCA kicks off its annual Try the Y membership drive on November 1 open to new and returning members. The signup fee is waived for all November registrations and entrants gain a chance to win a free month.
