Fairgrieve students learn power of giving to feed neighbors
Fairgrieve Elementary students learned they can help feed local families with small change. Tim Archer of Catholic Charities of Oswego County spoke on Oct. 13 about donations of pennies to bills. For every $10 raised, 35 meals are provided. the pantry serves about 9,000 to 10,000 meals monthly in the Fulton City School District. Principal Jean Ciesla said donations from students will be collected during Morning Express in October to buy vegetables for food boxes.
