Oswego Man Thomas Jermyn 87 Dies After Long Service
Thomas W. Jermyn 87 of Oswego died October 17 2017 at Upstate University. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a B 29 crew chief and worked over 25 years as a Niagara Mohawk nuclear operator after seven years with the Oswego Fire Department. He enjoyed duck hunting. Survived by wife Rose and sons Michael James Stephen, siblings, seven grandchildren and nieces. Calling hours 4 7 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral 10 a.m. Friday at St Pauls Church. Burial in St Peters Cemetery. Donations to Trinity Catholic School Oswego.

Thomas M. Carr died Thursday October 5 2017. Funeral services were conducted Monday October 9 2017 at 7 p.m. at Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home Oswego with Deacon Nick Alvaro officiating. His daughter Tammy Rodgers spoke of family memories and his son Mitch Carr shared a poem. Burial was private.

Fulton man charged with drugs weapons and impersonation
Court documents say a 911 call about a woman being grabbed outside Pathfinder Court apartments led to police locating a Toyota Highlander near Gilbert and South 12th streets around 10 p.m. Brown, in the rear seat, allegedly used false names, hid a revolver, and faced drugs including methamphetamine cocaine heroin and Suboxone plus marijuana. He is to appear in court November 15.
