Oswego County officials announce a full-sound test of the new emergency warning sirens for the 10 mile Emergency Planning Zone around the Nine Mile Point and James A. FitzPatrick nuclear plants will occur at 1 p.m. on December 6. The system, installed last year through Exelon Generation and Entergy Nuclear, uses updated tech for reliability and will be sounded for three minutes across all sirens.
