Fitzhugh Park Thanksgiving luncheon draws hundreds
Fitzhugh Park Elementary hosted its annual Thanksgiving luncheon with hundreds of students and families joining faculty and staff. Volunteers served turkey, potatoes, vegetables, and other holiday fare as Principal Donna Simmons stressed building home school connections and inviting parents to share in the day. Retired aide Lynda Baker, back for the event, called the gathering family and expressed gratitude for the turnout and the positive impact on students.
