Lanigan alumni bond fuels Kilimanjaro story of hope

Current and former Lanigan Elementary students share a lasting friendship sparked during a visit to Tim Conners a former Lanigan student now a blind cancer survivor and Kilimanjaro climber. Conners spoke at Lanigan and later at a community event about his 7 556 mile trek to Africa and lessons of teamwork courage outside comfort zones and learning from mistakes.

Fulton students revive city history with oral stories

Fulton City School District students collaborated with Wisdom Thinkers Network under Ralph Singh to present oral history clips on Fulton. GRB teachers Ami LaDuc and Danielle Florio guided six months of interviews, with community meal and readings as attendees shared perspectives and future plans. Certificates of recognition were awarded to students and teachers.

Oswego Health sponsors community breastfeeding shower
