Local authors visit Fulton students with reading dogs
CiTi students at Fulton Fourth Street School hosted authors Connie Evans and Marjorie Wentworth and their dogs Charlotte and Sawyer through Paws Across Oswego County Readings. The event showcased fostering pets and animal rescue with readings from Charlotte's Big Dream and Sawyer's Promise, while children pet the dogs to connect with the books' messages. Evans and Wentworth, who began Reading for Rescue in 2013 with PACC, partner with Tails and Tales Publishing to produce educational children's books about rescued dogs adopted from PAOC shelters.
