Scriba Man Indicted on Manslaughter in Toddler Death
Edward G. Lewis faces a five count indictment by an Oswego County grand jury for first degree manslaughter second degree assault reckless assault of a child and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the death of 2 year old Jeremiah Jones at a Scriba home. Authorities say Lewis admitted to physically reprimanding and shaking the boy and using a newspaper wrapped in tape as punishment. He allegedly caused brain bleeding that led to Jeremiah’s death the next day.
