Mexico MACS studies non traditional TK pathway
The Mexico Academy and Central School District announced a study to create a transitional kindergarten like program for four and five year olds. The plan aims to bridge Universal Pre-K and kindergarten for students needing an extra year to grow socially and academically. A task force formed by parents teachers and district officials reviewed UPK outcomes and will present a plan to the MACS Board of Education at 6 p.m. March 22 at the district office.
