Oswego officials plan to spend about 650000 plus on at least a dozen road paving projects this summer. Mayor Billy Barlow announced that the council supported bidding milling and paving work to contractors. The projects include West Second Street East Second Street City Line Road and other major routes. The CHIPS allocation for 2017 is about 820000 leaving room for sidewalk repairs and work orders. If the plan has a gap a change order could add to it.

Oswego native Jennifer Mays declares her candidacy for the 4th Ward on the Oswego Common Council. She aims to grow Oswego with healthier, livable streets, a stronger police presence, and expanded access to city resources while aligning with the Democratic Party. She founded Oswego Expeditions and has prior sheriff deputy experience.
