Louis F. Pelky, 94, of Poughkeepsie, died July 24 2015 at River Valley Care Center. A WWII medical corps veteran who served in Normandy, the Bulge, and Rhineland, he worked 30 years at GAF and taught oil painting 40 years. Survived by daughter Barbara Leavey and two sons, services Saturday at Rockefeller Funeral Home, with calling hours 9 to 11. Interment Grace Land Cemetery Albany. Memorials to Adriance Memorial Library.
