Ex NY cop jailed 15 years for strangling wife in Malta
Charles Wilkinson, 69, a former Nassau County police officer, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the May 2014 death of his wife Kathleen Wilkinson. He was sentenced to 15 years after admitting to strangling her during a fight over finances at their Malta home. Kathleen was found dead on the couple’s bedroom floor two days after the killing.
