Oswego Youth Court training set for July 27 in City Hall
Oswego youths in grades seven to 12 may apply for a week long training session July 27 to 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oswego City Hall. Applicants can pick up forms in school guidance offices or at the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, 70 Bunner Street, or apply online at Oswegocounty.com/youth/YouthCourt. Dawn Metott and Sam Crisafulli note the program gives youths second chances, real court exposure, and community service hours while hearings involve cases referred by police or schools.
