Fulton Farmers' Market goes tobacco free
The Fulton Common Council banned tobacco use at the Fulton Farmers' Market starting Saturday with unanimous support. The Tobacco Free Network of CNY Oswego County Health Department and Greater Oswego Fulton Chamber of Commerce backed the move to create a smoke free boundary at Canalview Park & Shop. Officials said the policy protects children and promotes a safe family friendly market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 13.
