Night in New York with Dr Ruth at DNC fundraiser
Oswego mayor recalls a 1997 New York fundraiser with the Democratic National Committee. At a pre show cocktail party VP Al Gore and Roy Roemer and Christie Brinkley made appearances. Dr Ruth Westheimer asked for a ticket and later sat near the president. The tale ends with Dr Ruth taking rolls and a table centerpiece, leaving the author jesting about payment.
