Frederick C. Shappee Jr. Minetto resident dies at 86
Frederick Carlton Shappee Jr. 86 of Minetto passed away January 29 2015 at Morning Star Residential Care Center. A U S Army veteran 1952 1956 Korean Medal recipient he worked 33 years in quality control at Sealright and built his own plane. He was past master of Hannibal Lodge F and AM a Noble of Media Shrine Watertown and an EAA member. Survived by wife Mary two daughters Carla Salisbury and Susan Caruth a son Jeffrey and three grandchildren with several nieces and nephews. Calling hours 4 7 p m Tuesday at Nelson Funeral Home Oswego funeral Wednesday 11 a m at Minetto Methodist Church with a Masonic service. Burial at Fairdale Cemetery.

Pulaski Woman Karen L. Stanford Dies at 58
Karen L. Stanford, 58, a Pulaski resident since 1994, died Wednesday at Seneca Hill Manor in Volney. Born March 29, 1956 in Saratoga Springs, she was daughter of George and Florence Hartzell. She worked at Military Clothing Store at Hancock Air Base, was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace in Pulaski, married to Mark L. Stanford with two daughters Breanne Barzee and Brittany Stanford, one son Brandon Stanford, and she was predeceased by her father. A memorial service was to be held at Foster-Hax Funeral Home in Pulaski, with burial in Port Douglas.
