Ghost ship American Fortitude docks in Oswego for winter
The 690-foot lake freighter American Fortitude once aimed for Texas scrapping, now berthed at Oswego Port Authority for winter. Tow constraints and Canadian detaining orders delayed movement. Nova Scotia and Welland Canal issues cited. Oswego expects about 50,000 dollars in revenue from berthing plus off loading of old gear.
