Oswego State defeated Nazareth 5-1 at Marano Campus Center as four goals in the opening period set the tone. Oswego Track Teams Shine at George Constantino Meet
Oswego varsity indoor track teams competed at SRC Arena in Syracuse. Girls finished eighth and boys 15th with multiple sectional qualifying performances including Rose Haung in triple jump and Miranda Gilbert in the 1500 and 3000 meters. Amber Tickle added two sixth places in field events. Boys' Justin Mull ran 55-meter dash in 7.01, Jason Purtell 3200 meters in 11:14.66, and the 4 x 800 relay finished seventh in 9:47.91.

Oswego Fajita Grill fundraiser aids St Baldrick's
Fajita Grill in Oswego will host a fundraiser for the St Baldrick's Foundation from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday with 10 percent of sales donated to funding childhood cancer research. Since 2005 the foundation has raised over 220 million dollars, second only to the U.S. government as a funder of such research. Local organizers and the Oswego State athletics department have supported 12 years of events, surpassing 580000 dollars last spring. this year's St Baldrick's Day in Oswego is set for Sunday, April 15 at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center.
