Oswego JV wrestlers dominated the Cazenovia tournament with three first place finishes. Frankie Dahar went 3-0 at 152 pounds, Dakota Ellis went 4-0 at 170 pounds, and Alex Vincent went 2-0 at 195 pounds, each winning in the first-place bouts. Juan Perez and Brian Lebron took second place in their weight classes, with Perez pinning Brock Chrismer in 50 seconds and Lebron pinning Jack Portern sok in 3:54. Robin Huang reached the second-place match at 152 pounds after two wins.

Oswego fisherman wins dual Co-Angler titles in 2014 season
Oswego angler Scott Blackburn earned Co-Angler of the Year honors in both Port City Bassmasters and the New York State BASS Federation for 2014. He won three events, placed second once, and fourth once in Port City events across St. Lawrence River Cayuga Lake Oneida Lake Oswego Harbor Chaumont Bay Henderson Harbor, clinching the title before the final tournament. He also rose to state co angler champion after strong finishes at Lake Champlain Cayuga Lake and Henderson Harbor, edging Seeley by 25 points to become the first to win both co angler crowns in the same year. He will receive awards at a January banquet and will join the Eastern Divisional Team competing in Hartford.
