Gibson to retire in two years signals future political plans
New York Republican Rep. Chris Gibson said he will retire in two years, noting a possible run in 2018 as Cuomo's term ends. The veteran lawmaker, who represents the Hudson Valley and Catskills, cites a pledge to limit time in office after a 24 year Army career and four Iraq tours. In separate upstate case, police investigate a 94 year old woman found badly decomposed in Gloversville apartment. Hope Buller was discovered December 29 with autopsy pending and death under investigation.
